Bo Ryan

Bo joined Connolly Suthers in 2017 as a Trainee Lawyer. She graduated from James Cook University in 2018 with a Bachelor of Laws. After completing a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice at The College of Law, Bo was admitted to practice as a lawyer in March 2018.
Since her admission, Bo has practiced solely in family law. Bo has been exposed to a wide range of family law issues including property settlements, parenting disputes, child support and spousal maintenance.
Bo is pragmatic and has a big emphasis on trying to resolve matters amicably to avoid ongoing litigation. Bo has helped many clients at all stages of family law matters including, negotiations, mediations and Final Trials.
Bo has a particular interest in parenting matters involving relocation and she has successfully obtained many Recovery Orders for her clients.
In her spare time, Bo has been a Committee Member of the Townsville District Law Association, she has been a Mentor for James Cook University Students and has worked with students (both in high school and at University) to give them first-hand experience as a solicitor.
Bo was appointed a Partner in July 2024.
